Cox & Kings owned Meininger Hotels and HGHI Holding have signed a contract for a new hotel in Berlin. Meininger Hotel Berlin Tiergarten will be located in the Schultheiss Quartier in the district of Moabit next to the Tiergarten. It’s going to be the sixth Meininger hotel in Berlin.

Meininger Hotel Berlin Tiergarten will be part of the mixed-use development Schultheiss Quartier consisting of approximately 120 retail shops and offices. The shopping and service centre is located on the premises of the former Schultheiss Brewery. It is set to feature a modern, urban and unique mix of shopping, gastronomy and entertainment.

Peter Kerkar, Director, Cox & Kings Ltd says: “I’m very happy about this project. It will be the sixth Meininger hotel in Berlin and a great addition to our portfolio. It’s great being part of this mixed-use development. Being integrated in a shopping centre is an excellent benefit for our guests.”
